HOW TO KEEP THE SHINE IN YOUR SAINT KOJO PIECES

Freshwater Pearls

Freshwater pearls are made in oysters and mussels in lakes and ponds. Freshwater pearls are delicate and will easily scratch if stored next to other jewellery. To prevent damage to your Saint Kojo items, always store your freshwater pearls in the Saint Kojo jewellery pouch that is provided each order. Clean your pearls after each wearing with a cloth, either damp or dry. A drop of olive oil is recommended every few uses to maintain the pearls gloss. Avoid using brushes and detergents to clean.

Gold Plated

Gold plated jewellery is ephemeral in nature, so to maximise the lifespan of your new lush pieces please ensure you wipe your jewellery using the polishing cloth provided. Avoid spraying perfume or other sprays while using your gold plated jewellery and instead wear your Saint Kojo items after spraying your perfume.

Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver is prone to tarnish and dull over time. However, unlike other materials, this layer of tarnish can be easily removed using a gentle toothpaste, or alternatively placing the silver in a baking soda and water solution and wrapping in aluminium foil for 5-10 minutes. A gentle wipe will reveal a shiny, polished surface.

Sterling silver is soft by nature so we recommend you take care during heavy activity such as exercise in order to prevent deformation of jewellery
